Where We Come From

Evrensel Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi is one of Turkey's experienced and established brokerage firms, with a long-standing history, international partnerships, and a service model shaped around client needs.

Our story began in 1975 under the name Saptas Sigorta, led by Isak Nino Debehar. After a corporate restructuring in 1986, the company adopted the Evrensel Sigorta name and, from 1998 onward, continued operating under the Evrensel Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi structure.

From the very beginning, Evrensel Sigorta has provided reliable, sustainable, and need-based insurance solutions for both individual and corporate clients. Over the years, we have developed strong expertise in claims management, health insurance, industrial risks, and international reinsurance solutions.

In the 1990s, the business gained further strength with the involvement of Edi Debehar and Jaki Debehar, whose journey with the company began through internships during their university years. The health and life insurance division also expanded significantly under the leadership of Aylin Hamurcu, whose sector experience added substantial value. Today, we turn client satisfaction into long-term trust not only during the sales process, but also through our solution-driven approach at the time of a claim.

In 2013, Evrensel Sigorta entered into a strategic partnership with Asigest Holding, the international insurance brokerage group headquartered in Italy.

Asigest Holding also works in close cooperation with international brokerage networks operating in more than 100 countries, giving access to a professional network of over 4,000 insurance specialists. Through this structure, Evrensel Sigorta is able to deliver strong reinsurance capacity and world-class solutions for both local and international risks.

Today, Evrensel Sigorta ve Reasurans Brokerligi continues to operate as a strong brokerage brand that combines local expertise with international experience and delivers service through a multicultural, multilingual approach.
